The Pitch: A staple in my house growing up and yes THAT Drive-in scene from Grease ('78), The Blob is the quintessential horror sci-fi film of the 1950's that helped set the template for the crossover genre for years to come. Extra tidbit: the annual Blobfest held at the Colonial Theater (yes the one in the movie) is an absolute blast to visit for fans of the film/genre!
